Nana Cardoon has touched the hearts of students of all ages. Nana Cardoon has been asked to expand our reach to the Forest Grove School District.
With your support we can provide site fees, outdoor educators, and curriculum coordination in a inclusive way for all members of the school district.

Foodways Essentials collaborates with larger organizations responsible for cooking and preparing meals for underserved communities, including BIPOC populations. By safely delivering donated food to these organizations, we enable them to efficiently utilize resources and meet the nutritional needs of the community, ensuring equitable access to wholesome meals for all.
In summary, this project addresses the immediate needs of underserved communities, with a focus on BIPOC populations, while promoting environmental justice and supporting vulnerable groups. Through the safe and reliable transportation of donated food to larger organizations preparing meals, Foodways Essentials plays a vital role in ensuring access to nutritious food for those facing systemic barriers. As we transition to an electric Sprinter vehicle and install a charging station, we will significantly reduce our carbon footprint, contributing to environmental sustainability. This sustainable transportation solution aligns with our commitment to environmental stewardship, mitigating greenhouse gas emissions and promoting clean energy alternatives.
